Michael is a seasoned finance leader and joins Propeller Industries with over 20 years of broad experience in a multitude of industries including health & wellness, technology, e-commerce, professional services, and multi-unit businesses to name a few. Michael is adept in connecting the dots between strategic, operational, and financial to improve decision making and drive optimal business performance.
Prior to coming to Propeller Michael spent 5 years as CFO / VP Finance at Barre3, a multi-unit franchisor of boutique fitness studios. Michael successfully led the finance function and partnered with the executive team to improve unit level economics and companywide EBITDA commitments through enhanced reporting, analytical, and financial modeling capabilities. He also helped secure funds needed to solidify both working capital and growth capital positions. Prior to this, Michael spent 5 years running his own fractional CFO business. Michael’s strategic guidance and business acumen have helped a multitude of companies achieve top and bottom line growth through a deeper understanding of business drivers and informed decision making. Starting and effectively running a business has given Michael a deep appreciation of what it means to be an entrepreneur and the challenges they face.
Michael has a B.S. in Finance from Portland State University. Michael has previously served on the Board of Directors at NOE International in both President and Treasurer positions.
Michael lives in Spokane Washington and in his spare time can be found boating, hiking, camping, and traveling with his wife and 3 kids.
